MediaBank Announces New Global Stage
Expansion into European and Other Markets Follows Firm Entrenchment Throughout North America
Chicago, IL, December 14, 2010 - In a new phase of company growth, MediaBank, a leading operating system for the advertising industry, has announced a new global stage of its media management technology beyond North America. The offering will be available first in Europe—with a first release in the UK, which will be publicly available in late 2011.
Further European expansion will include Germany, France, Spain and Ireland, followed shortly by Asia Pacific, Latin America, and other emerging markets.
MediaBank, which has drastically disrupted the North American agency operating system industry in four short years, looks to do the same abroad. "The landscape we faced in North America three years ago is similar to what we see globally – the agency world needs innovation and technology to help keep up with their ever-changing business," said Bill Wise, CEO, MediaBank. The new global presence will be crafted to fit the unique needs of each regional market. MediaBank will also develop new platforms tailored specifically to particular regions, built largely on existing MediaBank technology.

The push to international expansion comes shortly after MediaBank signed a long-term partnership with Interpublic Group to provide media buying technology services for Mediabrands, announced at the end of October. With Publicis' Starcom MediaVest a MediaBank partner since 2007, MediaBank now provides media management technology in North America for two of the world's four largest advertising holding companies. MediaBank sees international expansion as an obvious next stage.
